AN ARRANGED AND FORCED MARRIAGE.

FIFTEEN  YEARS LATER, EASTER MOSES IS STRONG AND BOLD TO TELL HER STORY!

When she was just 17, her mother threatened to have her put out on the street if she didn't marry her longtime, wealthy abuser.Eventually, she was compelled to wed a man who was twice her age. The only way you can leave this marriage is if you die. Easter's mother posed a greater threat to her. On the night of their wedding, he committed a rape on her, and he continued to abuse her daily in almost every way possible.Nobody questioned her decision to get married, and nobody offered assistance when the beating began. In addition to abusing her little daughters, he arrange for men to gang rape her so he could watch.

Despite her desire, the violence of her 17-year-old planned marriage was simply too much. To obey or to incur the wrath was her only option.

SHE WAS A CHILD HAVING A CHILD!

As a result of early marriage, numerous young girls are dying from pregnancy and childbirth. One of the worst and deadliest types of gender-based violence against girls is child marriage. Millions of women are often coerced into marriages by men who are frequently considerably older than they are, depriving them of the chance to continue their education, have children, and in many cases, to survive.Due to their immature bodies, teenage girls are most frequently killed during childbirth. Children having children is a health risk that cannot and shouldn't be ignored.

Early and forced marriages violate human rights by depriving females of their youth and education and limiting their opportunities for development and stability. One of the major causes of forced and early marriage is poverty. While some families see their daughters as a financial burden and a commodity, the majority mostly from rural areas see early marriage as a way to escape poverty and secure their daughters' futures.

The higher-than-average rates of maternal morbidity and mortality cause women and girls to wish to leave their communities or kill themselves in order to avoid or elude the marriage.

If you were not given the option to make any of those decisions, your marriage is considered to be forced. If you are subjected to physical coercion to marry, threats, sexual or physical abuse, emotional or psychological abuse you are definitely in an arranged marriage!
